Mathematician and computer scientist by training, working as senior IT consultant. Earned a PhD applying my studies to biomedical research data. Today, I work with data, systems & software, and their architecture, combining analytical thinking with a practical approach to solving problems. I’m particularly interested in how real world scenarios can technically be modeled, and by that, how underlying business processes can be optimized. Moreover, as of today, I support collaborators as guest researcher with data analyses and modeling.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and meeting up with friends. I try to stay active through sport, and enjoy reading and writing as a way to slow down and think in a different register than a typical work day allows.
